BIOGRAPHY

Dhaval's professional experience in the petrochemical industry spans over 21 years in a variety of technical and leadership roles in research and development. He started his career with GE Plastics in 2001 and transitioned to SABIC in 2007 through the GE Plastics acquisition. He has diverse experiences ranging from innovations in the upcycled polyesters to advanced material solutions to new decarbonization and mixed plastics waste recycling technologies.

Dhaval holds a BS in chemical engineering from the University Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai, India and a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Kentucky at Lexington. He is based in Sugarland, Texas at SABIC's corporate technology and innovation center.
