carbon hub annual meeting 2024

Dear Carbon Hub Community,

We are delighted to invite you to the 2024 Carbon Hub Annual Meeting, slated for May 6th and 7th at Rice University.

The gathering will kick off on May 6th with a series of panels featuring thought leaders from industry, academia, and funding organizations. The discussions will highlight the importance of private-public partnerships to enable the carbon transition and the key science questions to be addressed. Our panelists will also provide an update on the progress towards the commercialization of carbon nanotubes. In the afternoon, we will host a series of technical sessions by the Carbon Hub research collaborators and end with a student poster session.

In the evening of May 6th, we invite you to join us for a networking dinner at the Rice University Faculty Club.

On May 7th, the technical overviews will continue in the morning while, in the afternoon, the Center for Energy Studies Carbon Hub collaborators will lead a roundtable on the challenges to sustainability for materials.

Finally, we want to bring to your attention that, right after the Annual Meeting, on May 8th, the Carbon Hub is co-sponsoring a free follow-on 2024 Japan-US JUNCTIONS workshop in person on the Rice campus. This workshop will include technical presentations from US- and Japan-based faculty members studying the science and properties of nanotube materials. This event is free and open to all but RSVPs are encouraged.

We are looking forward to seeing you on May 6th and 7th.

Warm regards,
