Sharon Beshouri is a Michigan native who earned her BA in Chemistry from Kalamazoo College and PhD in Chemistry from Purdue University. She completed her education at the University of California at Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory as a post-doctoral fellow. She began her career at Shell at the Westhollow Research Center in Houston, Texas as an R&D scientist. Over the course of her career Sharon has held roles of increasing responsibility in manufacturing, management, finance, strategy and planning, commercial and leadership. She is currently President Shell Global Solutions (US) Inc., Chief Engineer of the R&D Technical Function and Vice President – Catalyst, Analytical and Refining Technology.
Sharon is married with two daughters. She serves on the Board of Trustees of Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart and volunteers her time to support STEM education for young women. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baseball and all things equestrian.
